Heo Yeon Woo, a high-ranking official's daughter who is now thirteen years old, goes with her mother to the royal palace to attend the congratulatory ceremony for her brother Heo Yeom's civil service examination. She meets Crown Prince Lee Hwon by chance. They get married, and Yeon Woo is chosen to be Joseon's Crown Princess.However, in order to install Yoon Bo Gyeong, the daughter of a family clan, as Crown Princess and secure more power for herself, the Dowager Queen secretly orders her death before they can wed.
