When a housewife who has been cheated on decides to go back to work, she finds
that she has entered a maze of predators and prey. After surviving the
treacherous terrain, she emerges as the ultimate hunter. Tang Ruo Qi, played
by Rebecca Lim, is a housewife who has always lived a simple life. Her husband
Jiang Yong Xi (Pierre Png) and their daughter are her only close friends who
are also housewives. Her happy and simple life is ruined when she finds out
that Yong Xi is having an affair with Olivia (Felicia Chin), his subordinate.
After Yong Xi files for divorce, Ruo Qi moves out of their 14-year-old home
and lives on her own. However, she refuses to divorce her husband and wants to
remain in the relationship. In order to compete with Olivia and win Yong Xi
back, she successfully joins Yong Xi's Kai Yi Group with the guidance and
assistance of her closest friends. It's like entering a wild animal-filled
jungle when you join Kai Yi Group after 14 years of being disconnected from
the business world. Because any mistake she makes in this jungle could put her
in danger, Ruo Qi treads carefully every day. She begins her perilous journey
as she negotiates workplace politics. Ruo Qi gradually evolves from a prey to
an ammo-carrying tracker with Wei Tang (Romeo Tan) and her two closest
companions.
